Sacred Tools
I love introducing you to the sacred helpers here at the Soul Center. I will share the origin stories of my tools and how I work with them.
Recently, a friend asked if I am an “animist.” I had never heard of the term before, so I inquired about its meaning. According to Wikipedia, an animist believes that objects and nature have a spirit. I chuckled at the new-found awareness about myself. I do indeed speak to the plants in and around my home. I believe the objects I surround myself with have an innate energy. My sacred tools and I have become friends.
I will share the sacred tools that I use in my personal practice as well as limited edition tools that I have created for you, Dear Reader (check out the shop!).
All of my sacred tools are blessed and smudged. I take the time to ground myself with Spirit and root myself in order to create. I let Spirit guide and move me in order to bring these creations to you!
The tools you will be introduced to here have come to me in different ways. Some have been found. Some have been created by my hands. In most cases I have documented their conception dates and gestation times. The ingredients of these tools have been carefully held in prayer. I take the time to listen to the components of the tools and ask the ingredients on how they wish to manifest into the finished tool. I share with you what I have learned by creating with them and working with them.
Please enjoy your time here as I share the spirit imbued in these sacred tools - so by the time you hold these tools in your hands, you will be deeply connected the their stories - and you can continue their songs.
