The messages that the Divine wishes us to know.  But we don’t want to.

Denial.

When you deny

Glares you in the face


Reigns supreme

Coming from nothing

A mentor once shared about an experience…

They were being guided in a meditation.  Participants were asked to visualize a vehicle.

For my mentor, a backhoe popped into their mind.  She gently asked it to step aside and desired a Mercedes - sleek, black, fast.  Again, the backhoe showed its image.  Again she pushed it out of her mind and replaced the rusty, workaholic, construction vehicle with sleek leather seats and luxury.  The backhoe bucketed the roadster over to claim its place in the visualization.  


Don’t ignore what surprises you.  The backhoes (so to speak) well up from ______ to invite you deeper.  This is where you start asking the questions… What does the backhoe represent?  What could it mean?  Is this a symbol for something else in my life?  What is within the metaphor of the backhoe?
