I had just finished my college admissions interview.  I was being ushered now on a tour of the campus.  Our group shuffled across the street.  We were led to the space where two dorms created a shaded area - a replica of the Winged Victory stood in the center.  

“It is rumored that if anyone graduates from Conn[ecticut College] a virgin, this statue will come to life and fly away!”
