A former coworker (JB). (who used to have the same type of car Subaru Forester 2002) is driving. The person sitting in the back seat (a stranger to me but familiar to JB) - the person shot forward - pointed ahead and shouted “look out for the water!” We looked ahead and we were driving right down the boat launch at Mansfield Hollow.  We were instantly dashboard height in the water. [FREEZE/PANIC FEELING]

My mind raced to - what to do in the worst case scenario.  First,  I wait for the car to fill up with water so I can open the door.  Do the people in the car know how to swim?  Will I be able to save them?

Well, JB just decided to pull a U-ey.  She turned the Subaru around and we were all fine. We just drove off and I woke up.  It was like it was no big deal. I remember wondering why the car didn’t shut off?
