Childhood innocence. Childhood trauma.

There is a time when you are innocent and then there is a time when you are not.

Do you need to process your own loss of innocence?

Do you have feelings around HOW your innocence changed?

Was your innocence taking from you?

Do you believe you are capable of rebuilding and healing your wounds?

What do you need to heal?

What do you know to be true?

What would your own past-self (as an innocent child) say to you now?

What healing does your inner child wish you to know?

If you aren’t sure what your innocent wounded little one needs, do you feel comfortable keeping the lines of communication open ended to discover?

Do you feel safe to uncover and work with your wounds?  What do you need for support?

Other noticings for the image…

The children are looking up - signifies yearning, hope, seeking.

Night is a vulnerable time - huddle cuddle together.  For me, the image evokes the comfort I desire at nighttime.  Bedtime stories read outloud, handmade quilts and blankets.  Prayers recited.  Settling down.  Nestling into the interconnectedness, the vastness of the stars and the cosmos.

Stars radiate.

Moon radiance.
